“…For dilated duct lesions, US is useful in evaluating not only the nature of the mass but also its relationship to the affected ductal system [10,12]. The morphological characteristics of the dilated duct pattern are helpful in differentiating intraductal disease processes from other focal breast abnormalities, such as fibroadenoma [8,10,14,21].
