Abstract: Chronic cerebral ischaemia (CCI) is a potentially life-threatening condition caused by carotid artery occlusion, hypotension and other causes. Moyamoya Syndrome (MMS) is an example of CCI, in which there is progressive narrowing of the branches of the internal carotid artery.
