Botulinum Toxin Injection for Chronic Pelvic Pain: A Systematic Review

Abstract: (Abstracted from Acta Obstet Gynecol Scand 2020; doi: 10.1111/aogs.13946) The therapeutic benefits of botulinum toxin (BTX) in alleviating pain in several myofascial disorders such as focal dystonia and spasticity are well established. There is an expanding potential for benefits in chronic pelvic pain (CPP).
