Abstract:Borophene was successfully synthesized by modifying the Hummer's approach. Under the influence of ultrasonic vibrations, two-dimensional borophene sheets exhibit exceptional piezocatalytic activity, as exemplified by the decomposition of highly stable organic pollutants in water.
