“…The performance of numerous agricultural plants was improved using boron fertilizers, most importantly in terms of yield, but also in terms of quality and certain physiological parameters, e.g., water management and chlorophyll content. Given the narrow range between deficiency and toxicity, the dosage of the added boron should be carefully adjusted for each application [164][165][166][167][168][169][170][171].…”

“…Cultivars of indeterminate growth such as the one used in this study present a lower proportion of the vegetative phase (33.4%) than the cultivars of determined growth (42%), a fact associated with the overlap of the vegetative and reproductive phases and, consequently, their early flowering (ZANON et al 2015) which indicates a higher proportion of the growth cycle in the reproductive phase. Thus, as part of the fertilization was performed in V4, the physiological activities of the soybean plant were enhanced, as in the case of the photosynthetic rate and the efficient use of water, as reported by FUJIYAMA et al (2019). On the other hand, the applications in R1 and R3 favored the supply of B to the reproductive phase, which presented a higher proportion of the total cycle in the reproductive period.…”

“…During the measurement, photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) was 780 μmol m −2 s −1 and atmospheric CO 2 concentration was 390 ± 5 μmol mol −1 (i.e., at light saturating intensity). Water use efficiency (WUE) was calculated as ratio of Pn to E and intrinsic water use efficiency (IWUE) was calculated by dividing Pn with Gs (Fujiyama et al, 2019).…”

“…Three of the ATP synthases in chloroplasts can be regulated by MT and it also improves the functioning of photosystem I and photosystem II during light and dark cycles (Arnao et al, 2015). These MDA and H 2 O 2 are considered oxidative stress markers which are linked to membrane leakage (Evelin et al, 2019;Fileccia et al, 2017).…”
