The second group is considered responsible for the antioxidant properties of Ginkgo extracts and comprises a large number of flavonol derivatives, primarily mono-, di-, and triglycosides, with quercetin (6), kaempferol (7), and isorhamnetin (8) as the main aglycones. In addition, the content of rutin ( 9), one of the major flavonol glycosides in Ginkgo biloba, was evaluated in order to test the applicability of this approach to the analysis of this class of compounds in complex botanical mixtures.…”
