Book Review of Compassion Fatigue and Burnout in Nursing

Abstract: hear these life stories of loss fully expressed, we may never take the risk to go beyond superficial conversations about grief and loss. We are challenged by the stories in this text to listen to what lies below the surface. When we don't shy away from discussions about sexuality, intimacy, and relationships in all their varied forms, the practice of grief counseling becomes more holistic and ultimately more effective.
