Após a introdução do Bitcoin, a tecnologia de \textit{blockchain} evoluiu como uma solução para fornecer integridade, não repúdio e disponibilidade de dados para diferentes sistemas. Cenários sensíveis a dados, como Health Care, também podem se beneficiar dessas propriedades da blockchain. Assim, diferentes propostas, tanto da Academia quanto da Indústria, foram implantadas para permitir a adoção de blockchain em aplicativos de assistência médica. No entanto, existem poucas discussões sobre métodos de incentivo para ajudar a motivar novos usuários a adotar sistemas de saúde. Além disso, pouco se discute sobre o desempenho para executar códigos em blockchains públicos e privados. Para resolver esses problemas, este trabalho apresenta uma avaliação do TokenHealth, um aplicativo para monitoramento colaborativo de práticas de saúde com gamificação e incentivos baseados em tokens, em diferentes redes da Ethereum. A solução proposta é implementada por meio de smart contracts usando a linguagem Solidity e executada em máquinas virtuais da Ethereum (EVM). Avaliamos o desempenho da rede de teste Ropsten e de uma instância privada da Ethereum. Os resultados preliminares mostram que a execução de smart contracts leva menos de um minuto para um ciclo completo de diferentes smart contracts. Além disso, apresentamos uma discussão sobre os custos do uso de uma instância privada e da rede principal pública do Ethereum.

Blockchain emerged as a solution for data integrity, non-repudiation, and availability in different applications. Data sensitive scenarios, such as Health Care, can also benefit from these blockchain properties. Consequently, different research proposed the adoption of blockchain in Health Care applications. However, few are discussed about incentive methods to attract new users, as well as to motivate the system or application usage by existing end-users. Also, little is discussed about performance during code execution in blockchains. In order to tackle these issues, this work presents the preliminary evaluation of TokenHealth, an application for collaborative health practice monitoring with gamification and token-based incentives. The proposed solution is implemented through smart contracts using Solidity in the Ethereum blockchain. We evaluated the performance of both in Ropsten test network and in a Private instance. The preliminary results show that the execution of smart contracts takes less than a minute for a full cycle of different smart contracts. Also, we present a discussion about costs for using a Private instance and the public Ethereum main network.

Changing the store layout of a shopping mall is usually costly in terms of time, resources, and money. Balancing customer flow is obviously an economical way to rationalize the store layout without displacing stores or changing their locations. However, it has long been a big challenge for managers of shopping malls, because it is difficult to build trust among stores for the sake of regulating customer flow. This trust depends on a multi-party cooperation model, of which the agreements are implemented on asymmetric information. Unfortunately, any form of endorsement with human intervention cannot support building trust on asymmetric information. To solve this problem technically, this paper proposes a diversion-point system to dynamically divert part of customer flow from popular stores to less popular ones. The system operates diversion-points and -vouchers on an asymmetric basis. It also employs a Blockchain subsystem to replace the centralized endorsement and preserve the information asymmetry, thereby building trust into the cooperation among customers, the shopping mall, and the stores therein. The evaluation shows that the proposed system is effective in remedying imperfect store layout of the shopping mall.
