Bonding of Cycloid, Epicycloid, Involute, 45° Curved Surfaces and Investigation of Mechanical Properties by Finite Element Method

Abstract: Bu çalışmada, farklı yüzey geometrisine sahip sikloid, episikloid, evolvent ve 45 derece eğriler matematiksel formüller yardımıyla Solidworks programında modellenmiştir. Show more

“…The tensile strength values measured in PLA filament are higher than the tensile strength values obtained in iron-reinforced PLA filament under all printing conditions. In a similar study, Uzun and Erdoğdu reported that the tensile strength of the carbon and copper-doped samples was lower than the PLA samples [19]. Moreover, Özsoy et al reported that PLA specimens had higher strength values than ABS specimens and explained this with the fact that the bonding between the layers during the specimen production process was better for PLA material specimens than ABS specimens [20].…”

“…The applications of welding, bolting, riveting, and adhesive bonding are seen as the most common joining techniques used in scientific studies and industrial applications (Kumar et al, 2021;Wang et al, 2022;Gamdani et al, 2022). Among them, the adhesive bonding technique is frequently preferred especially in the automotive and aerospace industries, with its superior aspects such as enabling uniform stress distribution, weight reduction, aesthetic appearance, ability to combine different materials, and eliminating possible chemical reactions by preventing direct contact of the bonded materials (Adin, 2013;Akpınar, 2013;Adin and Kılıçkap, 2021;Atahan and Apalak, 2022;Uzun and Akçadağ, 2022).…”
