Bonding effectiveness of composite-dentin interfaces after mechanical loading with a new device (Rub&Roll)

Abstract: This study evaluated the effect of mechanical loading with a new device on the microtensile bond strength (µTBS) of adhesive systems to dentin. Forty molars were divided according to adhesive systems: self-etch (Clearfil TM SE Bond -CSE) and etch-and-rinse (Adper Scotchbond TM 1XT -ASB); and to aging (n=5): control; MC1-250,000; MC2-500,000; and MC3-750,000 mechanical cycles.
