“…Therefore in continuation of our studies of the application of boehmite as an insoluble support, here we report a complex of zirconium oxide that is immobilized on BNPs (Pr.S‐ZrO@boehmite). This catalyst was used for C–S and C–O coupling reactions.…”

“…FT‐IR spectra of BNPs, modified BNPs using MPTMS (Pr.SH@boehmite) and Pr.S‐ZrO@boehmite are shown in Figure . The FT‐IR spectra show several stretching vibration at 480, 630 and 740 cm −1 which correspond to the vibration of Al─O bonds in the structure of BNPs . Vibrations of hydrogen bonds and nitrate impurity were indicated by two bands at 1080 and 1634 cm −1 , respectively.…”

“…FT‐IR spectrums of BNPs, 3‐CPTMS@BNPs, TEDETA@BNPs and Cu I ‐TEDETA@BNPs are shown in Figure . The strong bands adsorption above 3000 cm −1 are due to symmetrical and asymmetrical stretching vibrations of surface hydroxyl groups . The adsorption bands at (1630) and (1174 and 1075) cm −1 are corresponded to nitrate impurity and hydrogen bands respectively .…”

“…Boehmite nanoparticles have high specific surface area including high density of hydroxyl groups on its surface, while it is inert in various chemical conditions . More addition, boehmite nanoparticles can be prepared in water using commercial available materials such as aluminum nitrate and sodium hydroxide, therefore boehmite is very inexpensive and easy available . These unique properties of boehmite led that it can be used as ideal support for heterogenization of homogeneous catalysts .…”
