“…The effect of cattle is thus particularly interesting from the point of view of stream fluxes. If we take a standard modern stocking density for dairy and beef cattle of 2 animals ha −1 (Nix, 2012), with animal body mass 500 kg (Campbell and Flux, 1952; Nix, 2012), dry matter intake (food consumption) of 2.5% body mass per day (Allison, 1985) and dry matter P concentration for pasture fodder of 3 g kg −1 (Metson and Saunders, 1978; Rayburn et al, 2006), then the total annual P excretion is 2738 mg P m −2 yr −1 . If even 2% of this (a low estimate proportion) reaches the stream, then ca.…”

“…This two-sided focus is often referred to as organizational ambidexterity (Leonhardt et al, 2017). In turn, this leads to novel characteristics in the business such as a digital strategy which consolidates the IT and business strategy (Sebastian et al, 2017), agile development methods such as Scrum and cross-functional teams (G. C. Kane, Palmer, Phillips, Kiron, et al, 2017), a risk-taking culture (Ebert & Duarte, 2018), and new executive functions such as a Chief Digital Officer (CDO) to guide the DT efforts (Singh & Hess, 2017).…”

“…McMillan, 1954;Brookes & Hodges, 1959;Crichton, Aitken & Boyne, 1959). In general, the evidence from abroad is confined mainly to analyses of records from herds at experimental stations (see review by Campbell & Flux, 1952;Morrison, 1956). Brody (1945) made an extensive analysis of growth curves from such sources.…”
