Body Percussion Research as an Object of Study Based on Neuromotricity and Executive Functions:

The purpose of this study is to perform a case study evaluating cardiorespiratory aspects and ergospirometry or stress test with gas analysis using body percussion according to the BAPNE method. A 43-year-old subject with a height of 182 centimeters and 81.7 kilograms was studied in a specialized medical center for athletes directed by the sports medicine specialist Jeroni Llorca at the Sport Clinic Arena in Alicante. The subject underwent an exercise test on an Excite Technogym treadmill where he was given an increase of 0.6 km / h every minute from 4.0 km / h. The slope of the treadmill was applied at a constant gradient of 0.6 km / h every minute. A constant slope of 1% was applied at the same time as continuous ECG monitoring and analysis of ventilatory gas exchange (Blue-Cherry/Geratherm by Ergostix). The BAPNE FIT method sessions last 50 minutes, although the ergospirometry study lasted 2 minutes for each activity to be analyzed. During this process, the subject was evaluated while performing five different activities of the BAPNE FIT program (motor, rhythmic and cognitive activities with dual task) with Step, elastic bands on thighs and ankles, weights on wrist and ankle bracelets and finally body percussion activities with Kangoo Boots shoes. The subject reached a VO2 PEAK maximal oxygen consumption of 2.61 l/min at 32.0 ml/kg/min. A maximum speed of 10.0 km/h was applied, reaching with BAPNE FIT activities an FCM of 189 PPM. This shows that BAPNE FIT activities help and increase the maximum oxygen consumption as well as the heart rate. So far there is no study of this type related to body percussion and this is a first study that can be used for further studies. Body percussion and selective attention. Interdisciplinary quantitative study through neuromotricity activities BAPNE method based on the dual task in Primary Education

The purpose of this research was to test whether the neuromotricity activities of the BAPNE method based on the dual task could improve selective attention and concentration in 5th grade primary school pupils. A quantitative approach was used, with a quasi-experimental design between subjects and with repeated measures before and after the intervention (pretest-intervention-posttest). The research was carried out in two schools in Alicante (Spain). The sample consisted of N=114 students between 10 and 11 years of age with similar socio-economic and cultural characteristics. A non-probabilistic convenience sampling was used, dividing the sample into an experimental group (n=66) and a control group (n=48). The Spanish adaptation of the d2 attention test was used as the assessment instrument. Statistical data were processed using SPSS, JASP and Excel. Statistical decision-making was based on a significance level of alpha=0.05. Samples were tested for normality, parametric and non-parametric tests were applied, and effect sizes were calculated. The main results of the intra-subjects analysis were statistically significant in favour of the experimental group in the variables TRPOST (p=<.001), DifTR (p=<. 001), TAPOST (p=.025), DifTA (p=.021), CPOST (p=<.001), DifC (p=.021), VARPOST (p=<.001), DifVAR (p=.002), TR+POST (p=<.001), and DifTR+ (p=<.001). Three variables that showed differences in the pretest were invalidated. The within-subjects analysis was also favourable for the experimental group. In conclusion, an affirmative answer to the purpose of this research is presented. Bibliometric evolution of body percussion: Impact and gender in scientific-academic publications

Body percussion is an emerging subject that has experienced an exponential growth in the last decade. The aim of this study is to present the state of the art of body percussion from 2001 to 2022 based on documents indexed in primary and secondary search engines with emphasis on gender and impact of publications. A sample of N=245 documents was selected, with n=72 obtained from the main primary search engines (Web of Science, Scopus), and n=173 from secondary search engines (Dialnet, JSTOR, RUA, Springer or DOAJ among others). We used an ex post facto retrospective design in the historiographic bibliometric variant and a frequency analysis using Microsoft Excel. Compared to existing works, it presented a more exhaustive analysis and substantial changes in the variables in terms of search engines, gender analysis, document impact and authors' h-index. The main results showed that the literature published in Spain and written in Spanish in book chapter format and indexed in secondary search engines prevails; that although there is a greater number of female authors, there is a predominance of works written by only men and a greater male participation; and that the educational field, at the Primary Education stage, is the most investigated through quantitative intervention studies, quasi-experimental design, control and experimental group, and repeated measures (pretest-posttest) with validated test as the main evaluation instrument.
