Body Information Analysis based Personal Exercise Management System

Abstract: Recently, people's interest in health is deepening. So health-related systems are being developed. Existing exercise management systems provided users with exercise related information using PC or smart phone. However, there is a problem that the accuracy of the algorithm for analyzing the user's body information and providing information is low.In this paper, we analyze users' body mass index (BMI) and basal metabolic rate (BMR) and we propose a system that provides the user with necessary information through… Show more

“…The abnormally high and uneven distribution of body fat is what causes obesity [2], which is categorized as a chronic condition. Body mass index (BMI) is still the most used criterion for assessing obesity wherein numerous tools [3]- [5] have been developed to ease the assessment. “…A significant development in Multi-frame Method is the successful hybridization of MTD (Modified Time Difference) and CID (Computed Image Depth) achieved by Iinuma et al, [9] that uses triangulation successfully to generate close to real 3D images. Recent approaches [18]- [20] that showed commendable results when utilized in a different application but can also be deployed to solve for 2D to 3D rendering. Stereoscopic footage and depth assessment from motion provide the required data for triangulation [10][11][12][13].…”
