“…In order to solve the problem of AC-LEDs under blue light excitation, a series of persistent phosphors excited by blue light have been developed, such as SrSi 2 O 2 N 2 :Eu 2+ ,Mn 2+ , 13 SrAl 2 O 4 :Eu 2+ ,Ce 3+ ,Li + , 12 Mg 3 Y 2 (Ge, Si) 3 O 12 :Ce 3+ , 17 Lu 2 CaMg 2 (Si, Ge) 3 O 12 :Ce 3+ , 23 Gd 3 Al 2 Ga 3 O 12 : Ce 3+ , 14 and BaY 2 Al 2 Ga 2 SiO 12 :Ce 3+ ,Bi 3+ . 24 Among these phosphors, Mg 3 Y 2 (Ge, Si) 3 O 12 :Ce 3+ , Lu 2 CaMg 2 (Si, Ge) 3 O 12 :Ce 3+ and BaY 2 Al 2 Ga 2 SiO 12 :Ce 3+ ,Bi 3+ can reduce the percentage of scintillation up to 71.7%, 64.1% and 52.94%, respectively. However, BaY 2 Al 2 Ga 2 SiO 12 :Ce 3+ ,Bi 3+ , which reduces the flicker percentage the most, was not tested for luminescence efficiency in this work and has a very low operating current.…”
