We have identified, mapped and discussed existing research on Blockchain-based solutio n s for intellectual property (IP) protection, an investigation that emerged from a case in antibody production for scientific and medical applications. To that end, we have performed a systematic literature review and created an instrument that classifies the contributions according to the materiality of the object they protect (from immaterial to physical), the type of protection (authorship notarization or prevention of illegal use) and the type of research (conceptual or empirical). Our results can be used to understand which avenues to pursue in the effort to create a new generation of more effective technologyassisted IP protection systems, a priority for 152 signatory countries of the patent cooperation treaty.

Open Educational Resources (OER) have been traditionally defined as educational contents that reside in the public domain or have been released under an open license that permits no-cost access, use, adaptation and redistribution. As the nature of educational content changes with new technology, however, so does the nature of OER. This paper explores the impact of four major types of technology on our understanding of OER: cloud infrastructure, open data, artificial intelligence, and decentralized networks. It is argued that these technologies result in a model of dynamic and adaptive resources that will be created at the point of need and will draw on constantly changing requirements and data sources. They will be created through distributed community-based processes, and they will support a pedagogy based on supporting student experiences rather than content transmission. As a result, the emphasis on content publication and licensing will decrease, while questions of access and interoperability will move to the fore.

Что касается нарушений авторского права, то блокчейны могут их предотвращать посредством как упрощения процедуры отслеживания произведений владельцами авторских прав, так и идентификации владельцев, поиска лицензий и оплаты роялти потребителями музыки и такими новыми посредниками, как Spotify и iTunes. Наконец, смарт-контракты могут использоваться для автоматизации лицензирования и в качестве формы управления цифровыми правами, но это может вызвать критику как с точки зрения теории «эффективного нарушения», так и в связи с теми трудностями, которые испытывает эта технология, когда имеет дело с исключениями или защитой авторских прав. Возможно, слишком рано делать вывод о том, что технология 10 лет от роду в конечном итоге приведет к разрушению авторского права, но уже имеются некоторые признаки того, что особенности блокчейнов типа Ethereum изменят его радикально, разрешив некоторые из его самых неотложных проблем.
