In 2012 he became a Research Group Leader at the Department of Structural Biology of Weizmann Institute of Science where he is a member of the Azrieli Institute for Systems Biology. Levy investigates the principles of protein assembly and self-organization. Bridging atomic and cellular scales, his group generates original concepts and tools for probing the organizational behavior of proteins inside living cells. In a Review article in Angewandte Chemie, Levy and co-workers elaborated on the infinite assembly of folded proteins in evolution, disease, and engineering. [1]
