Blastomycosis of the Skull Base

Abstract: Blastomycosis is a nonopportunistic fungal infection caused by Blastomyces dermatitides. Originally described by Gilchristl as a cutaneous infection, it is now accepted as a systemic disease with many classic and unusual presentations.
