Blaming the victim: Representation the victim of rape in M.F.A film

Abstract: The media in representing rape victims is still gender biased, such as blaming the victim. This study aims to find out how female victims of rape are shown in the M.F.A film by using semiotics to analyze the structure and ideology contained in the text.
