The Blackboard learning management system (Bb-LMS) is integrated into the nursing educational system to effectively respond to the increasing development of technology in society. The Bb-LMS as an artificial intelligence (AI) approach continuously improves the teaching-learning process of the nursing educational system. Nursing colleges and universities design programs with the assistance of AI tools. Positive perception and impact on the use of Bb-LMS are documented by several authors. Recent studies documented a few challenges of using Bb-LMS including the provision of appropriate training regarding e-learning and the Blackboard system, occasional time delay and audio issues, and the students do not prefer Blackboard in practical nursing subjects. Nonetheless, the predicted influence of the Bb-LMS as an artificial intelligence approach can transform nursing education across all domains of nursing education and practice. The Bb-LMS facilitates university teachers and nursing educators in managing their courses and communicating with their students effectively. Research on artificial intelligence and nursing stressed that the future of artificial intelligence in education envisions preceptors and robots cooperating to produce scholars with fashionable outcomes. Hands-on training and workshops should be conducted for both students and teachers to address the challenges of using the learning management system in nursing education. Future research should consider examining the integration of Bb-LMS in nursing curricular reforms to make nursing education more meaningful and effective. A Comparative Study on the Impact of Online and Blended Learning

The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has accelerated the transformation of educational institutions across the globe by implementing online and blended learning, which becomes an important aspect of the instruction and learning processes. The present study aimed to investigate the impact of both online and blended learning methods on grammatical knowledge and skill acquisition via an experimental approach. The study recruited 76 first-year medical learners to participate in an experiment for 7 weeks. Specifically, the experimental group studied the learning material face-to-face for 7 hours with 8 hours online, while the control group studied the same material online for 15 hours. The data were collected through pre-test and post-test. Although both approaches significantly improved learners’ grammar performance, the study results discovered significantly higher learners’ performance in a blended learning environment compared to solely online learning.

Educational approaches have substantially improved and changed in recent years. Technologies have evolved, particularly since all educational activities moved to an e-learning format. This necessitated the introduction of different teaching strategies and educational management techniques. For these reasons, learning management systems such as WebCT, Blackboard, and Learning Spaces are currently accessible. They provide a variety of services, including the creation and distribution of online learning materials, the recording and transcription of lectures, and the facilitation of communications among diverse users. Learning management systems have allowed stakeholders to create platforms that facilitate convenient and adaptable web-based teaching. We can address a range of aspects and features that have shaped the concept of performance in relation to the learning process. Performance during e-learning and distant learning is a major challenge for management because a variety of factors can influence learning.In the present study, we analyzed and evaluated the factors that could affect the effectiveness of distance learning and e-learning from the perspective of the faculty and students at the College of Sciences and Arts at Unaizah, Qassim University (Unaizah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). Our objective was to examine the factors that influence the quality of online learning when using the Blackboard learning management system, as well as its advantages and disadvantages. The study's findings will be valuable to universities attempting to integrate technology into their teaching and learning processes and will help to increase the productivity of online learning.
