“…Working independently, two coders descriptively assessed the database (Cohen, Wilson, Vanderpool, & Collins, 2015). Two meetings were held to review interpretation, discuss discrepancies, and arrive at mutual consensus (Campbell & Wallace, 2015; Cohen et al, 2015). A third researcher participated in the discussion, talking through key words, phrases, and concepts, to reach a consensus on framing patterns and categories in the qualitative data (Abramson, Keefe, & Chou, 2014; Campbell & Wallace, 2015). Using the categories as a guide, the data analysis proceeded with two researchers carefully and extensively reading the selected articles.…”

“…In some cases, they have set up what have been called 'Internet campuses' , where there are virtual churches as part of the megachurch provision (Thumma and Travis 2007: 186). Research on megachurches needs to keep up with these developments by evaluating how they communicate their beliefs and values on the Internet and among virtual communities in particular (Asamoah-Gyadu 2007;Campbell and Wallace 2015;Hackett 2009;Martin et al 2011). Going forward, this aspect of megachurch worship will develop at a rapid pace because of technological advances.…”
