Bis(8-hydroxy-5-quinolyl)-methane Aluminum Chelate Polymer Film Prepared by CVD

Abstract: Metal‐containing chelate polymer films were preparedby means of a CVD process from the monomer bis‐(hydroxy‐5‐quinolyl)‐methane and metal source aluminum acetylacetonate. The Figure displays an AFM image of the chelate polymer deposited on a quartz substrate, which shows a fairly homogeneous surface with no aggregate or rugged prominence. The chelate polymer deposited shows high thermal stability.
