Birth Congratulation Messages on Facebook in Jordan: A Sociopragmatic Analysis

Abstract: This study examines online congratulation messages for childbirth as expressed in Facebook users’ comments on birth announcements in Jordan. The principal aim is to study the congratulatory strategies and their pragmatic functions.
