Biphasic Catalysis—Homogeneous

Abstract: Homogeneous catalysis offers advantages over heterogeneous catalytic methods in that all catalyst molecules are available for the substrate, and the catalyst can be tailored to the desired chemical transformation by choosing (designing) the proper ligand environment.
