Abstract:Organophosphate ester (OPE) flame retardants and plasticizers have replaced several legacy, banned brominated flame retardants. Bisphenol A bis(diphenyl phosphate) (BPADP) exemplifies a growing industry trend towards production of complex, high molecular weight, 'novel' OPEs.
