When trying to accumulate data to record a 13 C NMR spectrum over a 24 h period, we also discovered that a white precipitate formed in the NMR ampoule. It is likely that deuterated dimethyl sulfoxide molecules replace pyridine and piperidine, reducing the solubility of complex I.…”
