Abstract:An extracellular polysaccharide (EPS) produced by the gramnegative nonpathogenic rhizosphere bacteria Enterobacter cloacae K7 was isolated and characterized. The process of biosorption of Cu(II) cations from aqueous solution by the isolated exopolysaccharides was investigated.
