Bioremediation

Abstract: Bioremediation, which exploits biological processes to remove contaminants from the biosphere, is generally a low‐cost option among remediation alternatives. The organisms involved are predominantly microbes which have the capacity to survive contaminant toxicity and access and transform the contaminants.
