Abstract:Bioreduction has emerged over the years as an alternative method to organic synthesis for the generation of chiral precursors of commercial interest. Bioreductions operate under mild conditions of pH and temperature with the help of highly regio‐ and enantio‐selective oxidoreductase enzymes.
