“…For the mineralized PLGA scaffold, we can see that Bragg peaks of HAP (25.8, 48.9) and DCP (29.2, 31.6) are appeared in the spectrum. The XRD pattern of the mineralized mPLGA scaffold show that the calcium phosphate coating also possesses components of HAP (25.9, 32.2, 39.8, and 53.3) , and DCP (29.2), but the peaks were sharper and the content of HAP was higher in these mixtures. Nevertheless, the peaks of the coated HAP crystals on the surface of both the scaffolds were comparatively broader and lower, suggesting that the grown HAP crystals had low crystallinity or small crystallite size , as evidenced by the SEM observation.…”

“…The presence of hydroxyl groups and carbonyl groups corresponds to the appearance of broad peaks at 3425 and 1736 cm −1 , respectively. It should be noted that the presence of hydroxyl and carbonyl groups can enhance the dispersion of CNTs as well as reactivity with other functional groups of polymers [30][31][32][33].…”

“…However, the negatively charged ‐COOH in side‐chain of TVH19 was changed to the neutral ‐CONH 2 . Although this change may decrease the growth rate of apatite formation, it was reported to avail to develop c‐axis‐oriented construction, which resembled with the morphology of hydroxyapatite in natural bone tissue (Hosseini et al, ; Li, Lan, et al, ).…”
