Biomimetic preparation of silicon quantum dots and their phytophysiology effect on cucumber seedlings

Abstract: In this study, a biomimetic synthetic strategy was proposed for a facile preparation of red fluorescent silicon quantum dots (SiQDs) using unicellular algae of diatoms as reaction precursor.
