Biomechanische Modellierung der Handwurzel

Abstract: Regarding the arising complex clinical problems, however, a valid biomechanical wrist joint model would be necessary as assistance, in order to improve the success of systematised therapies on the basis of computer-aided model-based planning and intervention.

“…Some studies have reported a vacuum suction drainage combined with external xation for a safe, reliable, and effective treatment for severe wrist tuberculosis. This modality also effectively reduces the incidence of infection, promotes the functional reconstruction, shortens the wound healing time, and reduces the recurrence of tuberculosis [24].…”

“…6,27 Multiple theories 5,[29][30][31][32][33][34] have been proposed to explain intercarpal wrist motion; however, controversy exists concerning the degree and direction of motion of the individual carpal bones within the two carpal rows during different planes of motion. 15,[35][36][37] Concerning biomechanical modeling of natural joint systems, there exist two traditionally ways of creating a computational model of a physiological joint system: it could be based either on finite element analysis/finite element method (FEA/FEM) especially related to stress and strain analysis, and a multi-body simulation (MBS) approach related to kinematics, kinetics or forces acting in the joints, respectively. There are different studies related to FEA/FEM modeling of the wrist aiming at the calculation of stresses and deformations of the related anatomical structures.…”

“…Einleitung Bis heute sind einheitliche, evidenzbasierte Verfahren zur klinischen Diagnostik und Behandlung von Handgelenksinstabilitäten nicht eindeutig beschrieben [1]. Die therapeutische Befunderhebung erfolgt primär durch in der Literatur beschriebene Provokationstests, die allerdings meist auf biomechanischen Erkenntnissen basieren.…”
