Biomechanical Behavior of Atherosclerotic Plaque

Abstract: Atherosclerosis is a disease in which deposits, called atherosclerotic plaques, build up in the arterial wall. Their presence can become critical when the plaques restrict blood flow and cause a stroke or a heart attack.
