“…The concentrations of monocarboxylic acids (acetic, propionic, butyric, valeric, hexanoic, heptanoic, and octanoic) in fermentation broths were determined using gas chromatography with a flame ionization detector (GC-FID) using a Shimazdu 2010 GC System (Shimazdu Co., Kyoto, Japan) equipped with an AOC-20i autosampler.
