Biologically Closed Electric Circuits: Activation of Vascular Interstitial Closed Electric Circuits for Treatment of Inoperable Cancers

Abstract

Normal metabolic p o t e n t i a l d i f f e r e n c e s between t i s s u e regions supply energy f o r chemical transports.Some of these t r a n s p o r t s take place via a c t r c u l a t o r y system t h a t is coupled to the non-selective bulk transports of blood and lymph c i r c u l a t i o n .It is called the v a s c u l a r -i n t e r s t i t i a l closed c l r c u i t (VICC) and represents a key mechanism for healing of injured t i s s u e .By applying d i r e c t current between electrodes implanted i n t o t i s s u e s i t t s possible t o enhance the VICC transports and t o induce healing i n inoperable cancers in the lungs, e.g., multtple metastases.
