Biologically active compounds fromOzothamnus leptophyllus

Abstract: A crude extract from a New Zealand native plant, Ozothamnus leptophyllus, was shown to possess antifungal activity. Flavonoids, mainly chalcones in the leaf exudate, were isolated, some of which possessed antiviral as well as antifungal activity.
