Biological activities ofBrassica rapa(Turnip) callus extracts by plant cell culture technology

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate biological activities of Brassica rapa (Turnip) plant callus extracts of Ganghwa-gun of Incheon city using water, ultrasonic wave and ethanol extractions to develop functional materials. DPPH radical scavenging activities of the callus extracts were increased in a concentration-dependent manner, as compared with control.
