Bioinspired preactivation reflex increases robustness of walking on rough terrain

Abstract: Walking on unknown and rough terrain is challenging for (bipedal) robots, while humans naturally cope with perturbations. Therefore, human strategies serve as an excellent inspiration to improve the robustness of robotic systems.
