Abstract:A μ-oxo diiron complex, featuring the pyridine-2,6dicarboxamide-based thiazoline-derived redox-active ligand, H 2 L (H 2 L = N 2 ,N 6 -bis(4,5-dihydrothiazol-2-yl)pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide), was synthesized and thoroughly characterized. [Fe III −(μ-O)−Fe III ] showed electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction activity in the presence of different organic acids of varying pK a values in dimethylformamide.
