“…The effect of RL on mycelia of T. rubrum was observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM). SEM was performed according to Yan et al with some modifications. Mycelia of T. rubrum were excised from an active culture grown in SDA plates and transferred aseptically to SDB prepared in RL solution (500 μg/mL) and incubated at 25°C for 7 days on a rotary shaker (200 rpm).…”

“…Absorbance at 260 nm was recorded to estimate the amount of nucleic acids released from the cytoplasm of the RL‐treated fungal mycelia. The experiment was performed according to Yan et al A 14‐day culture of T. rubrum in SDB with or without RL at concentrations of 250, 500 and 1000 μg/mL incubated at 25°C was centrifuged, and the supernatants were collected. The absorbance of the leaked nucleic acid in the supernatant was measured at 260 nm with a nucleic acid analyser (Nano Drop 2000C, Thermo Scientific).…”
