Abstract:Liver cirrhosis is the common final pathway of many diseases and is the third leading cause of mortality. Biochemical and cytological data, together with imaging data interpreted in the context of clinical data, have an important weight in formulating the diagnosis, establishing the prognosis and controlling the therapy.
