Abstract:Objectives: Actinomycetes are well known sources of antibiotics, however; recently the focus of antimicrobial research has been turning towards actinomycetes of extreme environments. Therefore, present work would highlight the isolation, identification and characterization of antimicrobial metabolites produced by marine haloalkaliphilic actinomycetes.
