“…The latter ones were drawn from the Catalogue of Eclipsing Variables, CEV, compiled by Malkov et al (2006) mainly from the General Catalogue of Variable Stars, GCVS (Samus et al 2013), upgraded by Avvakumova et al (2013), and uploaded into the Binary stars database, BDB (Kaygorodov et al 2012;Kovaleva et al 2015). The results of our simulations were tested against a CEV-based sample of 415 Algols with original classification and 1726 systems classified as Algols using the procedure suggested by and substantially modified by Avvakumova & Malkov (2014), altogether 2141 systems.…”

“…According to the literatures, large cells of MCF material are connected to each other through narrower windows . The desorption branch in the BdB pore size distribution analysis of the adsorption and desorption branches provide information about the cell and window, respectively . For the m PW/MCF catalysts, the hysteresis loop slopes slowly and moves in the low P/P 0 direction, indicating that the pore size of the sample is reduced after the loading of the phosphotungstic acid.…”

“…In order to take this into account, we cross-matched our systems with the lists of closer binaries (orbital, interferometric, spectroscopic, eclipsing, X-ray systems, radio pulsars) using the Binary star database, BDB (Kaygorodov et al 2012;Kovaleva et al 2015b). Besides, an indication of hidden binarity can sometimes be found in WDS Notes (34 cases).…”
