Abstract

The 2020-2023 National Smart Cities Strategy and Action Plan has been prepared in order to assure investments in line with national policies by bringing a holistic perspective to smart city policies at the national level in our country. Smart Cities Capacity Building and Guidance Project was implemented by the General Directorate of Geographic Information Systems of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, in order to contribute to the realization of the actions, duties and responsibilities that are defined within the scope of the 2020-2023 National Smart Cities Strategy and Action Plan, and to increase the capacity of all stakeholders, especially local governments. In the smart city collection prepared within the scope of the project, the issue of information technologies were comprehensively discussed, and a training book on information technologies, videos and presentations were prepared on this subject.
