Bilateral Insufficiency Fractures of Medial Malleoli in an Elderly Patient: A Case Report

Abstract: Insufficiency fractures (IFs) are a type of stress fractures that most commonly occur in the pelvis, followed by the proximal femur and vertebra. Less commonly, the lower leg and foot are involved. However, reports of IF of the medial malleolus are relatively rare.
