Abstract:Chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) is a chronic inflammatory condition of the middle ear characterized by perforation of the tympanic membrane with recurrent or persistent mucopurulent otorrhoea. Otorrhea is the most common complaint of CSOM compared to hearing loss and otalgia.
