Bilateral atypical femoral fracture related to bisphosphonate therapy

Abstract: Introduction. Although bisphosphonates represent the most commonly prescribed antiresorptive therapy for the treatment of osteoporosis and fracture prevention, paradoxically, their continuous use in some patients can lead to an atypical femoral fracture.
