Abstract

Big Science leads to breakthrough scientific knowledge and innovation through large-scale multinational scientific infrastructure investments, expanding the boundaries of science, technology, and innovation. This book examines how Big Science projects evolve to solve complex scientific problems, consequently addressing critical social challenges.
