“…Previous literature has emphasized the critical and important role of BDAC in promoting innovation (Ghasemaghaei and Calic, 2020;Mishra et al, 2019;Wamba et al, 2017) by enhancing and enabling a firm's ability to deliver innovative business models that did not exist previously (Erevelles et al, 2016) as well as to provide new insights into the needs and desires of customers and potential opportunities in new markets, thus reaching innovations that are more compatible with market requirements (Cao et al, 2022;Niebel et al, 2019). According to Capurro et al (2022), BDAC is an important organizational and technological capability to capture data from the outside and turn it into internal knowledge and an organizational routine that helps intensify collective efforts to achieve innovation and create CA (Anderson et al, 2014). This is accomplished by enhancing the capacity of firms to increase productivity and improve business systems and procedures (Akter et al, 2020) while enabling management in making flexible, efficient and innovative decisions (Kabil, 2021;Tseng et al, 2021).…”

“…This study explored the perspectives of educators and practitioners regarding curricular priorities for Big Data analytics. Big Data is ubiquitous and fast becoming a metaphor for innovation and discovery (Capurro et al, 2021); however, the promise of a "Big Data revolution" is not without major controversy (Wong & Hinnant, 2022), especially in healthcare (Bamidis et al, 2019;Househ et al, 2017;Rodriguez et al, 2018). Despite variability in its conceptualization, Big Data is generally defined by three characteristics (Cappa et al, 2021): volume (exists in massive amounts), velocity (produced at super high speeds), and variety (available in various formats).…”
