Bibliometrics study: article usage and citation counts metric in trade liberalization

Abstract: This paper examined the relationship between article usage count and citation count metric for published studies in trade liberalization. Data were extracted from Thomson Reuters Web of Science, Social Science Citation Index Expanded database a hub for markedly prominent journals. The data covers articles that are published from 1980 to 2015. Our study grouped articles published in trade liberalization according to their total citations into 4 categories.
